EDICOLA

A temporary cultural pavilion and public space created by Line Culture and Associates Architecture during Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023.

Challenge
EDICOLA was conceived as a nomadic cultural “presidio” designed to host talks, workshops, performances, and community activities over five months. The initiative required a coherent visual identity and communication system that could represent its experimental, inclusive spirit while adapting to a wide variety of formats and events.

Beyond branding alone, there was also the operational challenge of managing continuous communication for a dense multidisciplinary program, coordinating a small team.
Solution
Developed a complete brand identity for EDICOLA, defining a graphic language inspired by its architectural structure and its role as a cultural catalyst in the urban fabric. I curated all communication assets: printed materials, posters, signage, social media content, and digital layouts.

In parallel, I coordinated the communication team, overseeing event announcements, editorial planning, and the production of materials for talks, workshops, and performances.

About the project

EDICOLA was created as a temporary cultural pavilion and public forum where the city could reflect on the role of culture in contemporary society. Designed as an open, accessible space, it invited citizens, artists, thinkers, and communities to question “What kind of culture do we want to be capital of?” Through talks, workshops, performances, and collective activities, EDICOLA became a platform for dialogue on urban space, participation, identity, and social transformation—using culture as a tool to connect people and reimagine the future of the city.
