AMORE MASCHIO
Graphic design and title sequence for an independent documentary exploring masculinity, friendship, and love.
Challenge
The film investigates the contrasting yet coexisting sides of its protagonists – two friends navigating love and masculine identity. The challenge was to visually express these opposing forces while clearly positioning the project as an independent, non-mainstream documentary through an unconventional and research-driven graphic approach.
Solution
I developed a visual language and typographic title design that balances contrast and cohesion, reflecting the dual nature of the protagonists. Through carefully researched typography and a restrained, non-conventional graphic treatment, the visuals reinforce the film’s intimate tone and independent character, supporting the narrative without overpowering it.
